This policy explains what personal data phpscientist.com (“Phpscientist”) collects, why, and the choices you have. Last updated: October 3, 2026.

Who runs this site

Phpscientist is the personal website of Senthil Kumar Muniyan Swaminathan, based in Alpharetta, Georgia, USA. There are no user accounts, comments or newsletter on this site.

Analytics

The site uses Google Analytics 4 to understand which pages are read and how visitors find them. Google Analytics uses cookies and collects information such as the pages you view, your approximate location, your device and browser, and the site that referred you. This information is processed by Google under the Google Privacy Policy. You can block analytics cookies in your browser or install the Google Analytics opt-out browser add-on.

Booking a call

If you book a call on the Contact page, you provide your name, email address, the time you choose and any notes you add. These details are used to create an event in my Google Calendar and to send you a calendar invitation with a Google Meet link. They are kept for as long as the calendar event exists and are not used for marketing.

The booking form uses Cloudflare Turnstile to check that the request comes from a person rather than a bot. Turnstile processes technical information about your browser and connection; see the Turnstile privacy addendum.

Hosting and security

The site is delivered and protected by Cloudflare. Like any web server, Cloudflare processes your IP address and request details to serve pages and to block malicious traffic, as described in the Cloudflare Privacy Policy.

Storage on your device

If you choose a light or dark theme, that preference is saved in your browser’s local storage. It never leaves your device.

Embedded content

Some articles may embed content such as YouTube videos. Embedded content behaves as if you visited the other website, and that provider may set its own cookies and collect data about your interaction with it.

Who your data is shared with

Personal data is never sold. It is processed only by the service providers named above (Google, Cloudflare) to run the features described in this policy.

Your rights

Depending on where you live, for example in the EU, the UK or California, you may have the right to access, correct or delete the personal data held about you, and to object to its use. To make a request, or if you have any question about this policy, send a message through LinkedIn.

Children

This site is not directed at children under 13 and does not knowingly collect their personal data.

Changes to this policy

This policy may be updated when the site changes. The date at the top shows when it was last revised.
